Alright, the situation is as such and it seems some what simple, in theory that is.  Basically the mission is espionage based and I need the SEXP equation that will basically make the Shivans jump on you if you fire ANY weapon at all.

What if someone uses a different keybinding or mouse / joystick?

If you put a particular symbol in front of the keypress (I think its "$" but i'd double check with an expert) then FS2 should automatically account for control changes.

You don't need the special character. FS2 will automatically remap the bindings anyway. Mouse and Joystick are also checked for in the SEXP Blaise gave.

But don't forget to make Alpha 1 protected!

Well Blaise did mention that. But yes, Alpha needs to be protected to prevent the enemy ships going after him straight away
