Yeah, the iPod shuffle is a worthless POS. I can think of a dozen flash based players that do more for the same or less.

As for ICQ, I only open my IM client to talk to my ex-girlfriend, these days and haven't opened it in... um... god, its been a year.

MP3CD players are nice. You can still play audio CD's, and you can easily expand the memory, 700MB for a quarter.

If iPods weren't so damned expensive, I might buy one for the convenience. (And to install Linux on it, of course. :p)

Edit: I mean the bona fide iPods, not that 'iPod mini' or 'iPod shuffle' crap.

I'm waiting for something affordable (read: below 200 USD) with 20GB+ space, a 2,5" screen, and linux.

:D

Sometimes I think walking around with a box and wires leading into your ears while bobbing your head and humming looks more stupid than walking around singing a song to yourself.

What's the iPod Shuffle?

EDIT: Okay, just looked it up at the Apple website and, umm, wtf? The thing has no screen.

It's illegal unless you have written permission from the RIAA to use that song's lyrics. Nobody's going to prosecute you, probably, but...:doubt:

Unless you're singing songs you made up on your own, or by someone *not* selling music through the RIAA.

Edit: Oh, wait, you're in Australia, so maybe the laws are a bit more sane there...?
