I have been making models and some test missions for my campaign, but hte real work is starting right now.
You ask on what the hell did I spend all this time? Gathering data to make it as FS-ish as possible (ship locations, system descriptions, timeline, events, etc...)
I'm still not done sine I need more data on systems (nebula colour, planet numbers)
Once I'm done, I'll probably put it all into one big text file. Having the FS2 universe/campaign broken up into dozens of (sometimes innacurate or incomplete) files doesn't help much and can not only get confusing, but allso takes time to find what you want.
Basicly I plan (or propose for the community) to do the following:
Detailed description of systems Followed by the detailed timeline
Time, location, event, details on ship movements and losses
Example:
Deneb (2 planets, 3 moons, red nebula) - 13th Vas battlegroup stationed there. civilian stations and traffic abdundant. moderate pirate activity.
....
27th December 2337, Deneb, Battle between the NTF and GTVA. GTVA losses: GVC Andromeda, GTC Trafalgar, 4 fighter wings
