A challenge for a render

With all of Bobboau's great work on the Ancients, how about a wee challenge.

Make a mesh and texture for one  

Below is an image for their 'headz' while the rest of the body, as long as it's bipedal and is able to modify it's environment with some form of hand, is up to you...

I reckon the ancients were aquatic.

Their hull design looks very scaly so i think they would look the same.  Since their technology was more advanced i doubt it is unreasonable to assume they would have modified themselves to a degree as well.

Maybe it has eyes   . I chalenge anyone to find the eyes of the aliens (from the movie "Alien", of course). Believe me, they have 2 big eyes, and no, they're not the "prongs" on the side of their head

Ummm...acording to HR. Geiger, the Alien designer, They don't have any eyes. He didn't give them eyes so that we couldn't relate to them. They were then truely alien.

W=Styrange, coz I have a book written by giger himself, and it tells were are the eyes, and to illustarate what he tells, he shows a pic where you can actually see them (pic from the first movie), and some pics of the Alien costum being made, and the head is buit around a human skull... the eyes are at the same place we have ours, but they're hidden behind what Giger calls "a semi-transparent crani, stretching back over the whole cranium and showing the eye-holes in the skull" (Giger's Alien, page 58)

I probably won't because I'm slow recognizing things I've never seen before, but it obviously isn't something from Volition, is it?
