I don't know when this great feature will be completed, but I'd like to know if some thing like an 'exclude from shadowing ' (casting/receiving) flag is possible for some ships.

Hehe, there are some pretty good reasons. Too bad I cannot reveal some things.

There are just some models that shouldn't cast shadows. (Well, they should recive them, but that's not that important...)

I don't think this applies to the standard FS2 contend though.

IIRC it would take about a month to get it implemented properly...
