Yes they are. The main problem I have with hte vast majority of builds is things such as grid markers and dock points not being rendered in the right place.

A bug which I personally submitted to Mantis a good while ago.

Yes I know about that one.
I've tried to fix it a couple of times with no success.
I'll have another go after I've finished the launcher stuff.

Open, even with it's troubles (the rendering errors in FRED are the only ones that bother me, as I haven't got around to using the media vps) it's a vast improvement. I'm still waiting for shines etc to work on ATI cards (paying £300 for an X800 and then having them not work was a bit of a blow), but the sexps and boosted limits etc. are great. :)
Any fool can pull a trigger...

SCP. Despite my system being pretty much low-end these days (read: can't even load Inferno), it runs pretty well.

Besides, I could never give up FS1 despite it never running right on my system. The Port is what brought me back to FS2...
