Going back to the Military
Not that everyone cares, but I decided to reenlist in the Military (US Military).  This is because I am @#$@ sick of working at a Hilton and I want a fun job again.

This time, instead of the Marines I am going into the Air Force with a pretty cool job.  I am going to be a SERE Specialist.  (Assuming I make it through the school).  Here is the creed.

Quote

SERE Creed

I am a SERE Specialist...

I am an expert in Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape.  I can survive anywhere in the world and teach others to do the same. I prove myself by deed and action. I respect every student and consider his or her needs before my own. I will remember that the lives of my students always rest in my hands and if they fail to learn the failure is mine alone. I will keep myself in top physical and mental condition, never tarnish the honor of fellow Instructors, and accept no less from my peers. I do these things so they may:

"Return with Honor"

:D

Actually I went to the recruiter on my own.  A walk in.

That being said I need a nice place for my family to live and that is going to be an Air Force base, not an Army or Marine base.

Yeah, I've been over to Carswell the JRB in Ft. Worth and it's really nice looking on the outside.  I assume it is probably just as good on the inside as well.  I've never been on active duty army except for IET, so I really don't know how good the Army housing is, but from the outside it looked decent.  What marine housing I've seen though, I don't know if it was just that base or what, but it wasn't too pleasant.
