Ok, What would I have to break to make fighter pof's not be affected by ambient lighting? because I broke it.

All the bigger ships work fine, it just seems the player flyable ones arn't effected by ambient lighting at all.
I'm using the same build TBP R3 was released with, which I think is just normal 3_5_6.

Update: Ok it seems to have only effected pof's that I imported a custom shield mesh too.
I fail to see how this screwed it up though...

Any ideas?

In the Pof header, does it require any lights for it to work properly?

That shield mesh is really causing your problems, isn't it.  Does it kill all lighting, or just ambient?
who needs a signature? ;)
It's not much of an excuse for a website, but my stuff can be found here

Cool. Slightly stealthy ships :D Don't throw away that shield mesh it may come in useful one day :D

No idea why it's causing you so much of a problem though.
Karajorma's Freespace FAQ. It's almost like asking me yourself.

Not really stealthy at all, they are just flat shaded bright grey.
Sigh, best to restart the pof's I guess...
