What ever happened to Freespace: Fleet Commander?

Yea, the mod for Armada, right? Died.

And anyway, a Freespace mod for BC would kick ass.

The beam cannons would fit into the phasers very well, they're already multi-colored and have limited firing time and arcs. Dunno about the flak and turrets though.

Of course, someone will make a Colossus model as soon as it comes out and use it in multiplayer to completely own the rest of us with 95259320535 beams.
