See through high poly models.......
I can't see through the entire model, but there are plenty of places that I can.

http://web.engr.oregonstate.edu/~plankerj/see%20through%20shots/

There are numerous places on the Fenris/Leviathan and also on Raa's Sobek that I can see right through. The high poly Perseus is missing it's cockpit, it is just one big hole. The new Orion seems ok, but I haven't taken a closer look at it. I haven't gotten far enough in the main campaign to look at the Ares either.

Does anybody else have these issues?

I get the problem with the hi-poly Fenris or Leviathan also. I remember not having any problems with it at first, and then suddenly it stopped appearing. It still seems to work fine in OGL, but it just doesn't show up in D3D at all. I'd use OGL anyway but it seems to crash randomly for certain missions. All the other hi-poly models work fine for me though.

Check the "Fix Font Distortion Problem" box in the launcher, on te video tab.  It wont fiz your Leviathan/Fenris but it will fix your font.

Not enough video memory to show all of the textures at one time?

That should be no problem. If there is not enough memory on the gfx card, the system memory will be used. (Which will cause a huge slow-down BTW...)

Sounds like the problem you used to get with intersecting faces (the intersected face was simply not drawn), but AFAIK that was fixed ages ago.

It's due to missing textures. I used to have exactly the same problem with the deimos. Which version of the leviathan do you have? Which media vps? Have you turned on the JPG and TGA textures?

it looks like the invisable sections of some of those ships use the same textures as sections that are visable.

Well the glass section of the Perseus certainly doesn't. In fact after checking in modelview it's fairly obvious that he's missing the XTrim2, FenrisTrim, FenrisTrim2, and ezecglass textures.

Those textures should be in mv_Textures so I'm a little mystified as to why you're getting this problem.

With mine it appears, mostly. Look at the link, there are a collection of images I to illustrate what I am talking about.

If you get the maps and it's still not working, there's a slim chance the IBX cache file may be corrupt.  It happened to me a number of times with the Leviafenris.  Though it looks like you're missing the maps, since it's only affecting non :v: maps.  The HTL Sobek requires a functioning HTL Fenris, so that could easily be the problem.  As for the Perseus, I believe I've updated that zip with the extra textures so you may want to redownload it.

Fenris still broked even with ZPack. I can see the trims, but nothing else. Oddly, the Leviathan shows up properly when I load the pof in modelview, but the Fenris doesn't except for the trims.

Do you have a link to your glowpointed ships Stratt? They're not on your site.
