New problem installing
Hey all,

Ive been trying to get FS2 installed once again so that I can play the new releases of the SCP.  When I try to run the setup or autorun off the original CD's it gives me an error.

The error message says:

16bit Windows Subsystem:  C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT.  The system file is not suitalbe for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications.  Click close to terminate.

I don't understand why its giving me this error since I havent ever recieved it in the past.

System specs are as follows:

Pentium 4b @2.66Ghz w/ 533 Mhz FSB
Windows XP Professional w/ SP 2
1024 MB of DDR 266 Ram
180 GB HDD
GeForce 6800GT w/ 256 MB Vram
DirectX 9.0c

Also, the system installs and run The Babylon Projects standalone game just fine.  Anyone have any idea what is causing this, how I can fix it and where to get more information?

Thanks,
Mewen1

Ahhhh, I remember this question coming up before. It's something to do with that Autoexec.nt file being wrong. A search should come up with the solution....

EDIT: here you go:

http://dynamic4.gamespy.com/~freesp...ght=autoexec.nt

Hope that helps :)
