I just replaced my ps2 laser because theold one got old and fried. My problem is I can't find the angle and height it needs to be set at. If anyone knows what it is please tell me. It is a v9 PS2.

the best thing i can tell you is to the check the manual.
To consider the Earth as the only populated world in infinite space is as absurd as to assert that in an entire field of millet, only one grain will grow. - Metrodorus of Chios
I wept. Mysterious forces beyond my ken had reached into my beautiful mission and energized its pilots with inhuman bomb-firing abilities. I could only imagine the GTVA warriors giving a mighty KIAAIIIIIII shout as they worked their triggers, their biceps bulging with sinew after years of Ivan Drago-esque steroid therapy and weight training. - General Battuta

The manual won't tell you something like that, though. Sony doesn't like people touching the internal bits of their stuff.

Can you check a friends PS2's setting to get a reference?

Are you kidding? None of my friends would let me take apart their PS2.

I'd let you fiddle with mine, but then it doesn;t work as it is. And I'd make you fix mine too :p

www.google.com ?

EDIT: I mean...I've made violin/computer/anything else repairs with information found on there, ps2 shouldn't be a problem.
