Try to make those laser maps completely white.
Lower the glow radius and use a gradient for the glows. (fade out to blue)

That should look pretty cool ;)

Thanks - I'll try it out next render with those weapon streaks.

although I can lower the glow, don't think its possible to use a gradient for them, unless I can find a particular texture that uses a gradient to blue/black. The glow is based entirely on the texture, as opposed to the color in this case at least :/
