The slow death of interplay
Thought this might be interesting.

Firstly, the interplay website is back - and straight out a cupboard, by the looks of it.

www.interplay.com

Said website links to the financial statements for the company (http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1057232/000117091805000423/0001170918-05-000423.txt);

(in thousands)
Assets; $865
Liabilities; $18,443

Wow.  The website is just laughable.  Honestly, why won't they just die?

wow. they have two pages on their entire site. the main page with the logo and links, and an intro page. that's really sad. they should sell the rights to certain videogames so they can get back on their feet.

As I said at the other thread, I'm almost positive that site is a fake.

It's like Jason Vorhees: It just won't die.
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside
