I dunno if any of you all are metal fans, or have even heard of Opeth, but their new album came out yesterday.

My girlfriend surprised me with it yesterday, so I got it about a month earlier than I was expecting. Anybody else heard it yet? I think it's pretty frikkin' awesome.

I'm not really into it but a couple of my friends are. We watched an Opeth DVD in our physics class one day for no apparent reason. I just kinda liked how they would go from growling to regular singing and one song would last like 15 minutes.

In other good news Relapse Records re-released Unquestionable Presence and Elements by the death-jazz band Atheist.    Hopefully i can find them this weekend.  Piece of Time comes out the 13th.
