After some rigorous testing I found two smaller mistakes.

50000 Hp was too little for this beheemoth, since it's well over 1000m. Set to 80000..

Some cargo dockpoint were a bit too close which caused interesection between smaller cargo containers. Now fixed to a milimeter precision.

Reminds me a hell of a lot of the Bretonia class that C914 made actually. Had I just seen the picture I would have sworn that they were by the same person

It could pass for a military research facility.  It wouldn't mount much in the way of heavy weaponry, but it would be well defended by cruisers and corvettes.  That clamp on the side would be a construction yard of some kind for an experimental ship class or something.

I was giving this one a whirl and encountered some problems.  Every ship I've tried to dock to the forward port or starboard docking ports, refuse to align properly in FRED.  If I dock them together, and then drag the freighter around the grid, the docked ship will spin around on the dockpoint like a propeller.  Sometimes it will even re-orient itself to partway along the side of the ship.  Its realy weird.

Hm...lat time I checked the dockpoints and hte paths were properly alligned..
