You should consult local officials rather than asking on an internet forum.  If you have somewhere to go, go.  These things aren't worth the risk of riding them out.

30 miles north of Dallas, all you will have to do is watch out for flooding, some TS force winds(39-73)mph and the very slight possiblity of an hurricane force gust, and that would knock power out, other than that you fine, just watch the water. Thats what kills most people in hurricanes, flash floods, so don't drive thru any water on the roads.:nod:
