Does anyone know which mission in FS1 or 2 has the largest amount of ships fighting at once? If this was asked already I apologize ahead of time

Hey Desert Ease, welcome to HLP.

Tough ask from memory (this means I need to go and play again, I think). Off the top of my head, two missions come to mind: first, the one where you have to defend the Galatea (in FS1) whilst it's attacked by the Hammer of Light. Second, the one where you launch an assault on the Knossos portal (FS2) and the Carthage and Dahshor have to be called in to assist. I'm probably not quite right, but those are still reasonably big missions.
