...ok, he sais he was in combat, not the military, he's trying to convey that in a fight you have a survival instinct and the situation he sais he was in would give you enough experience to know this.
but more importantly as soon as someone calls up and sais he was never in the military he without skipping a beat admits it.

Obviously being in combat with a sense to attack is much different than "surviving" by hiding behind a rock while the soldiers do the job. Whatever he calls a "survival instinct", and claims he's in possession of it, doesn't begin to compare with what it truly is.

The man is full of shit, and obviously does not understand how real life works.

if you can't get over his attitude, then yeah, I can see how you wouldn't like him, but I listen to his show oftine, disagree with almost all of his points, but I think he treated the issue fairly. (even if he doesn't always treat individuals fairly)
