someone test the new radeon drivers
we have receved report(s) that the latest ATI drivers once again allow spec mapping, I have been extreemly busy the last week and have hardly been home to test myself, if someone would be so kind as to test this and report there findings it would be nice.

D3D spec still not working for me either. Have a Radeon 9600 video card.

Oops... unless there was someone else too, this is my fault. I just went back and checked it the way I should have in the first place (as in with everything else turned off). Indeed there was no spec... maybe I saw something that wasn't there in my wishful thinking. Sorry for any trouble I may have caused.

actually... it wasn't OGL... trying running it with only spec on OGL was what finally convinced me it had been a trick of the light on my screen or something... real shine looked infinitely better than what I'd thought I was seeing... now if only it ran smooth and fast enough to be playable with glow and other options...

I get slowdown on my bloody
