I'd agree with you but there were some games (Like Where Time Stood Still) that were simply better on the speccy (if they even came out at all on the C64)  :D

Well, I only rarely need Vice these days. Only to play a bit Archon II (have the Amiga version as well, but the C64 one is a lot more fast paced), maybe some Katakis (same here).

Else than that, I rarely play any C64 anymore. Though there ARE some pretty cool ones. (Antiriad.... Hmmmmmmmmm :D )

MY favourite game of all time is still Ranarama on the spectrum so I can't completely abandon it :)

Funny thing is that there a few sites that are taking classic games and porting them over to the PC. I quite enjoyed playing Head Over Heels again. Kinda missed the speccy music though (not to mention the ability to cheat and get Head And Heels together in the first room :D
