Saturday the 5th of june was an intresting day for me, i got hit by a car.

Yup thats right, your beloved kracker was plowed into by a 2,000 pound piece of metal. I was at this event called Springfield Days (town celebration thing) and me and my friend CJ were outside of a blockbuster crossing the street, and we were walking into the street from behind a parked tractor trailer, so we couldnt see trafic coming from the left, but that thought never passed our minds.

All i remember was begining to run after a car coming from the right passed and then my friend yelling wait, then i turned to see the car and after that all i could remember was the feeling of the car hitting me. I woke up on the sidewalk bout 10 minutes later, and aparently, from what my friend tells me (he saw everything, he was literaly like 3 feet behind me) the car swerved away (it was going 15 - 20 mph), clipping my right leg, then my hand smashes into the grill, my face hitting the car, and my glasses cutting into the right side of my face, and i roll over the hood and onto the road where my shoulder plowed into the ground. I then proceded to crawl onto the sidewalk and pass out.

When i woke up i was actually feeling alright, and wanted to get up and walk round but the paramedics wouldnt let me, and i actually laughed at my stupidity when cj told me whaat happened. I was guilty though, when I saw the woman who had hit me, crying because she was so in shock, because she thought she killed me.

I went to the hospital, and was diagnosed with a sprained thumb, a badly bruised, but unbroken leg, road rash on my shoulder, bruised eye, and a gash on my face. The only real pain was the severe headaches i got due to my now, sensitive to light eye because the hospital was so damn bright. Im all better now, and minus the bruise which hasnt finished healing yet, 7you can barely tell anything ever happened at all.

Me: 2 days afterwards.

Funny thing is, earlier the same morning, i had finaly got my lazy ass to go get my learners permit.

*****in'

Hope you're alright, though. It could have been worse, if the car had been going faster.

Go around telling people how you got attacked by a wild bear, and managed to fend him off with nothing but your wits and your own two hands.

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

Out of wheelchair, weekly rehabilitation therapy, pain, etc... But pain is my business so I shouldn't be to bothered by it :p

Anyway, things are going pretty good considering.

And Krackers, you'll be fine :) It'll probably hurt but you'll be fine. Believe me.
