new mv_textures won't work.
I have-
Duron 1.6
gf6600gt
782ram
OpenGL

mv_models, mv_effects, media vp_3.6.7  1 and 2 (third didn't work)

Just downloaded mv_textures and this happends now.

In game first time when i saw Cain i could'nt see some textures. That was already before i installed that textures vp.

Can i do something? Is there anywhere that older mv_textures file?

You could try new CVS builds as 3.6.7 doesn't have proper XMT support.

Or try downloading the 3.6.7 MediaVPs from here, i hope those are still 3.6.7s and not the new 3.6.8betas. However you are using 3.6.8beta MediaVPs as can be seen from the errors (A lot of .tbm related errors) and which are incompatible with 3.6.7 release build.

I would suggest: Take new CVS builds and DL the older 3.6.7s and patches as there seems to be something going on with the betas.

Hmm. Gues those are 3.6.8  ,because those are the ones i downloaded earlier.  So i must download new cvs build.

 :wtf: i just checked and the files from the SCP are 367s... Checked those from here for 3.6.7s and here for 3.6.8betas.

Have you run any mods? Do you have any (extra) .tbl, .tbm or .vp files in the freespace2 folder or in the data folders and it's subfolders?

The mv_textures.zip i just dl has got no table files included (3.6.7)...

I did everything in order as was said here. -1.Update the game -2.launcher -3.media vp_  ...1 and 2 -4.models.. effeckts

everything i have in that folder is here -

But now i downloaded new cvs build and everything is now fine. Beside that textures wich now works i got that media vp_ ...3 working allso.

Please do not use different media vp versions at the same time (mix them that is)...

It might not hurt but the sorting out of the probs is much harder if you do so. Also you might want to use the multiple mod feature to keep the media vp files in their own folder. Effectively running the improved graphics as their own mod (recommended way). And make sure you get the mv_core.vp.

Note that the scp download page no longer has mv_textures available, for some reason or another.

I can see the mv_textures in the SCP site and even load it... Note that there are more than 10 files to dl at the moment, the default view shows only 10.

It had gone to the second page and me and wauveli both missed it. WMC just bumped the files per page limit, everything works fine again :)

There was also an issue the third patch if you got it really early on, so you may just try downloading it again.
