in 25 years there would be a new standard of input and CDs would be unable to be read. Period. Closed.

Besides, it'd be taking backwards compatability a bit too far methinks ;) Considering that 30 years ago, we were still 5 years from the ZX81. Anyway, I'm with Raa on this, bumping old threads is becoming a bit of a habit, I don't mind if theres a logical reason, but unless theres a specific reason, you may as well make a new post ;)
