Re: UN Human Rights calls for closure of Gitmo
And to think, the Army is falling apart based on occupying a relatively small middle eastern country. Now the US is thinking about taking out Iran (which is a different situation, and can be justified). But occupying a country like that is.....difficult at best. I just do not see how they can pull that one off.
Why would the US even bother occupying them? I see them sometime in the near future simply pointing at Iran and yelling "NUUUUUUKES!" for no particular reason, and then reducing Iran to radioactive dust. It's been too damn long since we had a good ol' fashioned nuclear attack.

The US pissed on established International Law a few years ago by invading Iraq, and nothing came of that. You honestly think any nation in the world would do anything if Bush started tossing Nukes around?!

Yup.  Russia and China, for starters.  Don't think for an instant that they wouldn't respond to that.

Learn it: The U.S. is NOT the big bad-guy of the world, contrary to popular opinion.

Ionia is right, there is no 'Big Bad Guy of the World'.

Every time 2 countries see each other as 'Big Bad Guys', wars tend to happen.
