Hello, guys! Sorry for the post without introductions but I really wanted to get into business immediately. I've been a fan of FreeSpace 2 for years now and have the SCP installed (it's been approximately six months since I touched the executable, sorry! )

I've always been in search for the quality music Volition had produced for FreeSpace 2. I've already noted the downloadable ones available in different websites and the FreeSpace 2 original site. Right now though, I'm looking for the song that plays as BGM in the main menu of FreeSpace 2. Browsing through other sites, I couldn't find it and to me it's the best song in FS2. Can anyone please help by refering me to a place to get the song from or if I could rip it from my own copy of FS2? Thanks guys!

Get VPview and open up 'warble_fs2.vp', it's got pretty much every piece of music in there. Plus, it's got 'Aquitaine' right at the very top of the list, which might be the file you're looking for.

There's no high-quality version of the Aquitaine music, unfortunately...just the compressed artifacty stuff that ships with FS2.
