usually I make much use of the "play soundfile" stuff in the Fred-message editor to ensure that I have written everything according to the voicefile (especially importnt for me, since english isn't my native language and I have to listen to some files more often than to others.
However, with one of the newer Fred-Versions (fred2_open_r-P420060226.exe) this feature isn't working anymore, I just get that error sound from the mainboard/internal speaker.
Anyone else get this problem ?
Oh, and by the way, can't you people make it so, that Fred always checks the correct folder ? When I open a mission, than Fred checks the last folder (i.e. the sound/special folder). And when I then go open a sound, I land in the mission folder first
I maybe mistaken, but I think it wasn't this way in the retail version
