Just a suggestion for a possible new campaign..
Sup guys, just was curious if any one has even thought about this... Well I recently played some of my older games in my library which then I came across Homeworld Cataclysm.. Those who havn't played it, the main bad guy in the game was a actual bio ogranism that infected entire ships, killing its passengers while taking over the ship..  They called it the Beast.. It not only made the ship theirs, tougher (because of the bio organism was covering it) but it can regen..  The way it infected ships was by either by touch or a beam they shot out that carried the virus.. The beam could actually jump from ship to ship...  Basically what happened then was the ship you were in command basically found and opened the pandora's box to unleash this organism on their galaxy...  Where the Beast basically stole/destroyed all of their ships, where they really have no ships of their own, they just steal and infect the ones they come across.. Thus increasing their fleet.
IDK just thought it would be a interesting and cool new campaign with one or two mods (probably mostly reskins), that no one has thought of before..  After all you could either be trying to find a way to destroy it by doing losing battles, running for your life etc....   Just my two cents...  Could be something new and exciting if the idea was given root to a capable campaign maker.
