Sci-Fi (or more specifically Space Combat) Web comics?
UTs experimentation in Space Combat web comics has made me wonder if there are others out there?  anyone know of any?  linkies please!

Also, what would features or aspects would be found in a good Sci-Fi web comic?  I'm also considering trying my hand at such a thing, and would love some thoughts on what is being looked for by readers

Gone with the blast wave is a sci fi comic, really funny - www.blastwavecomic.com :)

Outsider is in the middle of a hiatus (and rather slowly updated even during the best of times), but the artwork is quite good.

Schlock Mercenary is updated daily.  It's been going for years, but there's an easy 'start here' feature and a story summary so you can get into it.  Warning: highly addictive.

If you want to see good SF, great military action, and hilarity involving plasma cannon and legions of cloned lawyers, I suggest Schlock.

I was going to say Outsider, but was beaten to it.

I find Crimson Dark to be a great webcomic. Excellent artwork and one helluva story.

The first page in the prologue has a vessel that looks quite a bit like a Deimos.

Also, blastwave comic is good.
