errors that seem to come with CVS....

I installed the latest CVS build... and suddenly the game seems unable to read certain model files. The only ones I've noticed so far is that when it tries to read a Cain-class cruiser, it looks for a file called "cruiser03x" that doesn't exist. Also, it can't read "Apothess.pof" from Inferno. This happens with either the older build or the new one, and it didn't happen before I installed the new build. Has this happened to anyone else?

cruiser03x is the alternate texture Cain, and should exist in mv_textures.  It not being found may be the result of a bad table file from a different media VP, or from your own table based off of one of those.

Sounds like I forgot the 3.6.8 media vp's. I'll try getting those. But what about the Apothess model? I don't think that was realated to the media vp's.

Never mind, looked into the problem, and for some reason the Apothess table data was pointing it to a "Apothess.pof" when the model was in fact "vasd-inf.pof" Don't know how that happened... but it's fixed now so no harm done.

You don't actually need the 3.6.8 VPs to run a CVS build you know. As long as you don't have the third patch it will run quite happily with the Official 3.6.7 ones.

Got the deltas anyway, and I must say, I love these enhanced graphics! Especially with the Super-High Shockwave files I downloaded from another topic. My computer is just barely able to handle them, since it lags a bit on occasion, but not enough to be a problem.

The version in the SCP patch is Apothess.pof. Sounds like you have patch tables but not the patch VP file with the model in it.
