hi all, newbie question here i'm sure.

i downloaded shivan's big fs2 torrent, which as i understand it has fs2 in all its glory.

i'm looking for a place to download fs 1, so i can start from the beginning again.  the-underdogs site seems down and karajorma's torrent links on his page seem down also.  any ideas?  freespace battle pack in my torrent search won't get started; maybe no one is sharing it.

any help is appreciated!

I know for certain the e-mule links work cause I'm sharing them. FS1 is still available to buy online (pretty cheaply too). It's not as rare as FS2.

BTW just in case you haven't noticed the torrent you downloaded does contain the FS1 on FS2 port so you don't actually need FS1 to play the story from the beginning. Simply go to the mod tab in the launcher and select mod >> FS1Port.  Once you've finished again simply do the same but pick mediavps to play FS2.
