Has FilePlanet become subscriber only (meaning, not free)?
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside

They just do their darndest to discourage people using their site for free. If you're paying, you get right to the point and download quickly. If you don't want to pay, you have to wade through pages and pages of ads and obscure links to find your download, and then have it go at half the speed it tells you, so while it says it'll be done in an hour, it's still going at the same speed 3 ****ing hours later. ****ers.

I used to think File Planet was ok (a little stupid sometimes, but otherwise ok). But after they changed it, I found that they only let subscribers log in anymore. Now it's unusable for me.
