Another case of fiscal irrisponsibility
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12726774/

It's been a while since this issue came up. Basically they want to cut more taxes for rich people.......even though the US now owes almost $9 trillion to people/foreign governments and still has a near record budget deficit of $350+ billion, they want to give away more money. In addition to this, they are still occupying Iraq and also thinking about going after Iran too.

So where is the money going to come from? The Chinese of course. :p

But seriously, does anyone else think this is just plain nuts?
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside

The way I see it, is that the current administration is doing all they can to screw up the country, so that when they get voted out in 2008 [pretty much a certainty], the nation'll be so ****ed up the Democrat's administration can't do **** for it, the people will blame said administration, and then vote the Republicans back in in 2012.

Meh. This country is being ran into the ground, and I will be proud to tell my children and grandchildren that I witnessed it.

Yep. I'd have to say I agree. Which basically leaves the democrates no response except to further **** over the country so that they win the 2016 elections.

That said maybe they can come up with a way to **** over the country during 2009 - 20010 and then make it so that things seem to be getting better in the last two years. Either way it's bad news for America.

I can no longer sit back and allow communist infiltration, communist indoctrination, communist subversion, and the international communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.

Just Washington. Maybe the state legislatures too. I've said it before: you need total representive and staff turnover every four years to make democracy work.
