This is no joke guys. This seriously deserves a big :wtf:
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside

While all were legitimate shipments on the day, our message to anyone thinking about shipping counterfeit DVDs through the FedEx network is simple: you're going to get caught."

Obviously not, if they didn't actually find any illegitimate shipments.  Especially because 97.5% of all mail is in fact pirate DVDs, mailed by Osama bin Ladin and manufactured by kidnapped orphans.  In fact, the reflected glare of a pirate DVD is enough to kill a child in minutes!  And the ink used to write the addresses is, in fact, made with the blood of murdered schoolgirls mixed with stolen American oil.

And our message is that everyone will stop using FedEx. In fact we should start a boycott of the company right now. If I were to send data to a friend I wouldn't want someone opening it and playing it just to see if it is a pirated DVD.

If you sent a data DVD, marked as such, and they opened it and viewed it wouldn't they be heavily legally liable for something like industrial espionage or illegal data access?  I'm sure in the uk, for example, the carrier would be liable for illegal disclosure of personal information if, for example, that DVD had any form of personal stuff on it.

If they claim it's part of a customs check they'd probably get away with it. Customs do have the right to investigate all material leaving or entering the country as far as I'm aware.

internal mail, though?

Thinking about it.....my Guild Wars game should have arrived ages ago.  Bloody sticky-fingered Royal Mail.

i think everyone takes the whole privacy issue way to far. theyre already making a fortune, are they that desprate for funds? i think its rather than the people stealing from the companies, its the people realising the true value of the media, nothing. i havent seen a big budjet movie, game, or band in the last 10 years that made me say wow. i can stick with inde films, open source gaming, and black metal which costs me far less (or in some cases nothing) while being supirior in many ways.
I can no longer sit back and allow communist infiltration, communist indoctrination, communist subversion, and the international communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.
