Initiative for released campaign subforum
The main FS Campaigns forum has a lot of kind of threads in it, ranging from the "RELEASE - xxxx" threads to FRED questions to campaign help threads. What about having a new subforum in which there are only the "RELEASE - xxxx" threads? It looks a bit daunting to find which thread contains the actual release and which one is - let's say - the "main" thread for the campaign in question?

I know that spotting "RELEASE - xxxx" is easy, but not all of the campaign releasers choose to have a thread name of that kind, making names like "here something handy" or "this will scare the hell out of you." These names do not suggest that there is a campaign release in it.

What do you think?

Re: Initiative for released campaign subforums
And, those "RELEASE - xxx" announce threads should go in the Campaigns List sub-forum ;)

Yes, release threads COULD go there. Let us see what the others say first.

Re: Initiative for released campaign subforums
Campaign list subfourm already exists IMO :) Thats where I think the "RELEASE - xxxx" should go :) This  fourm though, I think it's better for everything not a "RELEASE - xxxx" thread, but don't mind them there either.

Re: Initiative for released campaign subforums
I vote for moving all of the release threads to the Campaigns List subforum and then changing the subforum's subtitle to something like this:
Quote
Skippy's Campaign List and Threads for all Released Campaigns
Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

Re: Initiative for released campaign subforums
The Campaign List forum seems like a logical place to put released campaigns and missions. So why not? I don't think there would be much of a problem if immediately campaign-related threads (like status reports) and the release threads are mixed together. Still gives a lot less to go through.

Yepp will save alot of precius time that can be spent playing the campaigns instead.

We pretty much thrashed this one out earlier. No idea why things didn't change.
