That is probably the third most important document in modern republic history.

yes, just remember that while it's a very awesome document - it's lot a legal document as part of our government - it predates it.

(some fundies try to use it as a "See! see! christian nation!"  ::))

Not saying it is, other than it was an official letter of diplomatic importance. It was none the less an important document that outlined the grievences in an official manner. It might have some bearing of the mindset of the founding fathers as well as such pieces of literature as the works of John Locke and Thomas Paine. But these are not legal documents and have no bearing in a court of law. However, these same documents are the underlying philosophy and thinking behind the law. Though understanding and respect of these, understanding and respect of the constitution and its admendments is only enhanced.
Government is the great fiction through which everybody endeavors to live at the expense of everybody else.

"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside

To consider the Earth as the only populated world in infinite space is as absurd as to assert that in an entire field of millet, only one grain will grow. - Metrodorus of Chios
I wept. Mysterious forces beyond my ken had reached into my beautiful mission and energized its pilots with inhuman bomb-firing abilities. I could only imagine the GTVA warriors giving a mighty KIAAIIIIIII shout as they worked their triggers, their biceps bulging with sinew after years of Ivan Drago-esque steroid therapy and weight training. - General Battuta

My favorite right is the one that allows people to spell independence "independance."

:nervous:

Wash: This landing's gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".
Wash: *shrug* "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die"?
Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.
