Old render, but just needed something to put one of my beams on to see what it would look like.  Im pretty satisfied with my lasers just need to keep working on my beams.  Few more yellow or green layers maybe.

Looks a whole lot better than some of my earlier attempts - but a little solid, you need to use a screen or addition layer to blend it with the background and ships

ok..so maybe set the Op on the whole beam lower?  Or the point of charge too?

I've set the Op to 90% and made it a tad bit brighter and blurred it some more.  I know there is no ship on this bg but I need a back drop to view the transparency.
