The wings are a little low poly and the weaponry curiously high poly. I'd reverse that equation a little bit and make the fuselage more smooth and let the detail on the weaponry be conveyed through textures.

as this is obviously a high poly model, you should make the wings more detailled, as Mikhael said (chamfer the edges, it works well)

mmh... yeah, think so: the stealth kilrathi fighter. The same ship (shape) is featured in Privateer with a different name and no cloaking device.

I thought the Kilrathi cloaking fighter had the cockpit farther back in the crescent of the wings, not forward as an0n has put it?

nope, in fact, the cockpit is even further on the nose of the ship, look:

I had to make it all square and angular because I extruded some faces to make the wings and couldn't get them to smooth, whereas the fuselage was smoothed. SO I unsmoothed the whole thing. Besides, it looks crappy smoothed.

I was originally going for a goa'uld look (as evidenced by the two staff weapon-ish cannons) but then I remembered I didn't know what Gliders looked like.

just take out all its weapons and give it two fast firing high damage yellow beams, and you have a super-acoylte (bentusi fighter, whatever)
