S:AH SCP Compatible Thanks To INF:A?
I managed to play the first missions of the campaign with now problems.
Except for EA ships,S:AH uses stuff already present in INF:A.
A tbm with EA ships and a VP containing the anis could make S:AH compatible with SCP.

Then,Woo,tell us if it's possible.

Actually SAH uses mostly INF R1 weapons so all those would have to be included. It only uses ships from FS Port really.

It would be possible, but it would be far easier to just fix the table bugs to get it running again.

We use modified versions of FS1 ships and so the balance may be lost if you just use the INFA versions of FS1 ships as they are especially as we use the new SCP armour coding which heavily chnages the balance of things. It wouldn't work on the INFSCP version of INFA either as it requires additional files from retail FS2.

Blaise Russel claimed he would make a second S:AH which is compatible with INF SCP. I hope this one will not be be a mish-mash of FS1, Alliance, Inferno and reskinned ships. :doubt:

It will surely contain FS1/INF:A/INF SCP ships....
Why he doesn't make the first S:AH compatible with standard SCP builds?He can do the changes he want and add more missions if necessary without re-starting the campaign(the storyline will be the same,right?)

you can play S:AH for a long time, but the graphics (internallly) need upgrading and shadow did it (and posted some amazing screens in that thread btw) but he never released it :(

The mods were what brought it down, IMO. Just a bunch of reskins, it was basically a mish-mash of FS1 and FS2 class ships. I just hope INFA2 will have some transition-era looking ships.

INFA2 uses the INF SCP EA fleet, plus an additional extra fighter as the other EA ships are produced at a later date and so aren't included in INFA2.

The Jovians use a mix of FS1/INFA and new ships like the Latona.

Smaller factions uses FS1 era ships.

About outer planets I want to remain in INF canon.Sedna is a military research zone.
The second has nothing to do with Sol.
In the third campaign you're Venusian so Venus isn't an enemy.
The fourth campaign(Earth) the storyline is the contrary of the INF:A main campaign.


Also,I don't think that Neptune and Uranus are under Jovian control.
