Anybody got a music re-formating program?

hey guys. i'm trying to convert my .ogg  music files to .mp3 format so i can use them as custom music in star wars galaxies. i need a program that will convert them cause changing the extensions isint working (just won't play). if nobody has anything like that then it would still be nice if i could get some freespace or halo music files in mp3 format.

I use soundkonverter... I'm sure there's something similar for Windoze.

Actually try Audacity it'll work if all your doing is turning OGGs into MP3s

But yea, Audacity is quite good, and can get most of what you want to do, done.

SUPER (Simplified Universal Player Encoder & Renderer) can convert pretty much anything into pretty much anything else. Mostly audio and video files, including the best (free) conversion to FLV that I could find (although this isn't exactly what you asked.)

audacity is a damn good program, it has all the features of sound forge or any other sound editing program, yet its open source.

Use the Re-encoding feature in VLC Media player. Go open source!  :pimp:

VLC is also great for playing fragmented or corrupt files which are half downloaded by such programs as LimeWire or by torrents.  :cool:
