Oh man I think that would be awesome if we could port FS to Xbox/Xbox360!  The graphics are surprisingly good for a game of this age as it is.  I'd love to see my 360 render this beauty...Anybody want to work on it?  I can volunteer some time.

That would suck a lot. That would make Freespace more popular, yes. But it would also get the attention of video game developers. They would see it as an opportunity to make money, so they would make Freespace 3. And chances are that it wouldn't be :v: that would make it. That automatically qualifies as it sucks.



EDIT: And it seems that I'm the only person that has anything to back their argument here.




EDIT2:  Great job people! Here you guys are screaming at the top of your lungs "xbox360+FS=bad" bugging everone, and when someone comes along with an actual opinion,the thread is locked!

Actually, there WAS talk of porting it over for consoles by the SCP Team, it was the lack of time, resources and consoles that prevented it.

I'm glad people don't get so retentive over having a Linux version.

Edit: Ooops didn't notice Taris had locked it :nervous:
