Title says it all. I just played through the Freespace 2 campaign in its entirety for the first time since I beat the game when it first came out years ago - except this time around with all the SCP mods, Media VP's, Shinemaps, new models - etc.
All I can say is - WOW - Great job guys! It has taken me the last 8 months off and on to find time to do so - but it was well worth it.
With that said - I wanted to say Thank You - to Everyone who has worked so hard to make Freespace 2 what it is today. Without everyones help and dedication - I would not have been able to play through it once more - since in its vanilla state it will not even support my current graphics hardware (I think it only worked with TNT and Voodoo cards at the time but I'm not sure.
I can not fathom how much work has gone into the game to update it - all the hours spent adding graphical effects we could only dream of when it first came out. The newest iteration - 3.6.9 is absolutely incredible.
My hats go off once more - so Thank You - all of you - that have worked so hard to make this masterpiece even more of a masterpiece.
