Ok, guys. I give up. How the hell did you get the AI-fighters to fly out of the hangar without turning and looping like crazy and smashing into walls, despite having clear waypoints?

Edit: I think I figured it out right after writing this. Is there no way I can put myself in front of the AI-ship inside the hangar when launching?
I mean, I am the wingleader, so I want to start in the first row...

Eh? I want my wingman to get out by himself. Not the AI controling my ship.

Anyway, I think I figured it out. I must keep a large enough distance to the wingmen's ships for them to be able to follow the waypoint without doing these loops (which seem to be evasive maneuvers)

One possible way....

create a waypoint a ways outside the ship in the front
Set their start speed at 0
and have them play dead or at least stay still
when it's time set their goal to waypoint once (also probably remove their play dead goal?)
That's cool and ....disturbing at the same time o_o  - Vasudan Admiral

That's what I did anyway. But if I positioned my own ship to close to them they immediately tried to evade me after I erased the play dead goal. Seems I need to be at a distance of around 30 units in x and 50 units in z direction for them not to feel in danger of colliding with me.
I've got it working now. This AI was certainly not written for flying inside other ships or flying in close formation...

Bingo :)  I was nearly going nuts until I figured this one out :D

Fighters must be placed not to closed to each other, and most important leave enough distance/time between them when they launch, or they start evading into the hangar wall.
