And holy hell, it's a mind-blowing amount of fun. Sound and graphics are spectacular, and on a mid-range system like mine I can safely have DX9 rendering (aka higher detail models and textures, which apparently include kickass shinemaps), anti-aliasing x2 and and texture quality set to auto, which pretty much sets it on medium or high on my system.
Gameplay is phenomenal. And half of these battles I fight they're almost like battles for my life, even at Regular difficulty.

The AI is pretty good, considering that it's never been decent before. Add WCP Reality and you have buddies that can shoot.

You're never far from noise when you're in battle. I can actually tell what guns are being fired in the course of the battle, they all sound different. Not to mention every character in the area you're in, including enemies, shout like there's no tomorrow. Sometimes I hear my squadmates shout "I'm out! Reloading!" or "Krauts! Over by the <insert location here, sometimes "broken wall!" or "burnt out car!" or other locations>. The Germans are always shouting, too, but since I can't understand German I don't know what the **** they're talking about. But they DO haul ass whenever there's a grenade nearby. I threw one and laughed as one Nazi quite literally went from the "bent forward as you run" pose to the "stand-straight-up 'I'M GUNNA DIE IF I DON'T GET MY ASS OUTTA HERE' running pose." He still died though, he met a hail of bullets from my Thompson.

All you folks who have the hardware and don't have this game, BUY IT. YOUR GODS COMMAND YOU. Seriously, you guys don't know what you're missing out on. No, there is no "Omaha Beach Landing" mission, but there's something better, but on the same date. June 6th 1944 was hell for these guys, though it wasn't as bad as the others.
