Speculation? No. But don't go on that. Drop an email to Mr. Bassett's email address (on his main page) and ask him, and point him to the HLP forum threads that contain his work.

There's no reason for Mr. Bassett to lie, whilst MasterJ would have every reason to do so, assuming they are seperate individuals.

Alternatively, I could give you Mr. Bassetts phone number and you could contact him directly (he lives, should his info be up to date, in Virgina).

on this note my first render entry the falcon being chased by tie advanced prototypes the meshes weren't mine but the render was i just couldn't remeber where i got the models from - the rest have been mine hence the lesser quality  =( although i'm pleased with my stargate so far
