I tested this flag today and noticed something annoying..

First.. yes, it caused the weapon to alternate between firingpoints... but then it also increased weapons rate of fire as well as greatly increased the weapon energy consumption.. Weapon that on 'normal mode' didnt even drain the energy in sustained fire drained the whole energy bank in 30s when using the 'cycle' flag. Kinda weird.

I know some mods already use this flag so 'fixing' it is probably out of the question... but real info about the flag would be useful.

it cycles faster on ships with more gun points this was to retain the game play advantage of having more gunpoints, if you don't do this, then a seriphis will have the same potential fire power as an eringes, if they both use the same cycling primary weapons.

I believe it consumes the same amount of energy pre shot, but quicker shots might cause faster loss of power.

Tested over 10s firing time... with primary bank that had 2 firing points. 'cycle' option fired roughly 22 shots and reduced power to bit over 50% while without 'cycle' it fired 24 shots and didnt reduce power more than a single 'double' shot would have done.
