I own a Phillips C577 stereo system. With a USB cable, I can connect it to my computer, and it acts like my sound card then-- eg all the sound normally played on the computer (music, system sound effects, whatever), comes over my stereo's speakers.

However, for some reason, when I try to use this with Freespace 2 SCP, it won't work. It does for the opening movie, but then just starts using my normal PC speakers again. How can I get this to work right?

What build are you using?  What is the format of the movies that work right (AVI/MVE/OGG)?

I'm using whichever stuff is installed by the automatic installer.
