Well... I was reading some of Shivan theories at Wiki and I was watching Ancients videos from my hard drive when I had that *Ping*
in my head.
Theory: An... Billion years ago (chancable factor) There was an empire troghout the galaxy, The Shivans. These Shivans, althought technology advanced, culturally under develed people. Only thing keeping their empire together was their emperor. However nobody is immortal, the leader died. The empire collapsed and small groups started to provide for their excistent. The most powerfull (if there was more dengerous ship then Lucifer (when we take out that "bug" in subspace
)) one, the one with Lucifer. They wondered space, until they discovered Ancients and they fought. Ancients where killed by Shivans. Shivans finded that tihs space had potential for next generation species, so they wondered more and would return to kill next generation to secure continuation of Shivans. Later Lucifer was destroyed and that Shivan block would wonder space for couple of years until they would be un-able to support their ships and they would broke down.
32 years later GTVA discovered Ancients portals, wich lead to even bigger faction. This faction was forced to remain at the nebula and couple of the systems nearby, becouse they didn`t discovere Knossos portal until Neo-Terran front activated it. GTVA started strike litearly in their "back-garden" thus they needed to time analazing the situation. Well they discovered that Capella was just right sun to create temporer node. They packet their things and used Sathanases, wivh where actually modified science vessels (well you got to admit, they where just as to be builded for to create that jump node at Capella, so they could be science vessels with heavy weapenry)... (Possible change factor #1: "Shivans" are old organic robots of once all-powered civilization.)
(Possible change factor #2: The Shivans at the nebula where in mission to re-create their empire, thus the Sathanas where on the mission to create new node and start ne expansion in the universe beyond GTVA imagination. EDIT: ETAK+Shivans incompatabilety... pataty... or whatever = SLAVE RACES FOR THE EMPIRE!!!!!!!!! ).
