The downfall of the formics
Anyways, this is my second stab at trying to write out a story.  I felt like writing this because my fanfic on Evamonkey.com didn't get enough people reading it, so I asked for it to be closed down.  Since I need to write more **** (Literally), so I'm writing this instead.  The first part of this fanfic revolves around the events of the Second Invasion in Ender's Game, but instead of the I.F., the Formics meet an particular alliance of Terrans you might be familiar with...

Commander Saul Charleston stifled a yawn for the fourth time time today.  He had a sleepy look, only because he was bored with his assignment.  He looked out of the window, and saw... space, as usuall.  Charleston slipped on his feet  and forgot one thing:  The EAS Lochness didn't have gravity.  Blushing, he sat down and strapped into his seat before anybody on the bridge could say anything.  "Why am I in the military?  It's such a boring job."
"Commander, we have a contact, on grid 245."  Lt. Takamisha said, with a touch of suprise in her voice.  This was supposed to be a secure area.
"Hail them"  Apprehension was building on the bridge as the Lochness drew closer to both the ships.  Charleston noted they had a strange organic appearance to them.  "We've got nothing, Commander."  Ensign Richard Farmer stated.  "We haven't gotten any sort of transmission from them."
Then the Lochness shook.  Damage reports came in, all in a moments notice, the universe had become hostile.
"Return Fire, all batteries."  Charleston barked.  Outside, The Lochness came into firing range, then, all hell broke loose.  The Unknowed ships traded missiles with the Hyperion Heavy Cruiser, missles trailing away.  Then the forward plasma cannons fired.  The first ship was wounded by the missle barrage... The plasma shots finished it off, green fire blasting off into darkness. as the fish-shaped ship exploded into a thousand gory chunks, some of them impacting on the Lochness.  The Second ship was soon dispatched, as three archer missles shot toward the innards, sending what looked like guts flying out.  A plasma volley from the side guns destroyed the attacker.
"Get me through to command.  We need to get out of this area of space immediately."  Charleston looked over at his engineer.  "Can we accelerate to hyperspace?"
He responded" Yes, Commander."
Charleston sighed, as the Lochness, the crew filled with terror.  The terror from the deep.

Re: The downfall of the formics
Does this have anything to do with the Ender's Game Formics?
Could we with ink the ocean fill, and were the skies of parchment made
Were every stalk on earth a quill, and every man a scribe by trade
To write the love of God above, would drain the ocean dry
Nor could the scroll contain the whole, though stretched from sky to sky!

Re: The downfall of the formics
what wobble said.

First I felt stupid because I asked if it was about Ender's game.  I posted (or tried to post) a quote from his first post where it answered my question before I asked it.  In doing so, I somehow seriously screwed up the quote.  Thus, I felt even more stupid.
