The Mighty Quinn (WIP)
Shouldn't take too much to find out what the campaign's about.  The title should reveal quite a bit of it.

Along with announcing the first campaign I actually want to release when it's done, I'd like to ask a question.

Wasn't there a simple way to change around nameplates?  This is something I would really like to be able to do, but sadly, don't know how.

I think I'm gonna have fun with this.  :)  Thinking about making it chapters, the first chapter being about 8 or 10 missions long.

Thanks!

Well, there is the texture replacement option in FRED... :nervous:
To consider the Earth as the only populated world in infinite space is as absurd as to assert that in an entire field of millet, only one grain will grow. - Metrodorus of Chios
I wept. Mysterious forces beyond my ken had reached into my beautiful mission and energized its pilots with inhuman bomb-firing abilities. I could only imagine the GTVA warriors giving a mighty KIAAIIIIIII shout as they worked their triggers, their biceps bulging with sinew after years of Ivan Drago-esque steroid therapy and weight training. - General Battuta

Yes, that works very well for Orions. You may have to expertise a little bit with it, but it's a good feature.

What's there to learn? Just cut and paste the texture's name to the box, and you're good to go? Then press Ctrl+S to see your changes.

Not entirely. There must be another thing there which confused me the first time I tried to change a texture. Well, it was a long time ago, so it may have been removed already from FRED_Open.

Give the textures simple names like "GTC_Snail"....you won't need copy and paste for them.

Good luck with your WIP, Swantz!

Re: The Mighty Quinn (WIP)
Just in case you type it wrong, like the nameplate I made for the GTD Anya was called 'gtdayna', so when I typed in 'gtdanya,' it wasn't found so I went on a rampage killing bugs and other animals in my back yard.

make sure it's in your Freespace2/data/maps folder and that it's in dds or tga format.
